2009 proved an excellent first year for CMC Juniors
Two of Cork Motor Club's youngest competitors in 2009 were Darren Noonan and Eoin Toomey.
They competed in the Juniors in their black Honda Civic in what has proven to be an excellent year for the two of them. Darren's dad Pat Noonan prepared the car. Starting off on the Quality Hotels West Cork Rally in March they were seeded 18th and finished 4th in class. Their next outing was the Rally of the Lakes where they finished 6th in class. The Cork 20 saw the two lads move to the top of the Juniors with a class win from an 18th place seeding and just to show it was no fluke, they repeated the class winning result on the Fastnet Rally which also gave them a 10th place overall. These are certainly two to watch out for in 2010.
