White is best on our 2012 "Summer" Test Trial
Ian White scored an excellent victory today (Saturday, Oct 13) at Vernon Mount on our 2012 "Summer" Test Trial. An entry of 18 drivers compteted over 12 tests. The event was part of the Premier Autoparts Munster Autotest championship and also a round of CMC's own club championship for 2012.

Paddy's building up a powerful reputation on our Summer Autotest
Waterford's Paddy Power continued his winning ways at our 2011Summer Autotest on Saturday, July 9, at Cork Builders Providers, Togher, Cork.
Quickest out of the blocks on Test 1 was Alan Clarke from Paddy Power, with Timmy Lynch third quickest. Test 2 saw a reversal of the first two places, with Liam Cashman in third. Liam was now getting into his stride taking top place on Test 3 from Paddy, while Peter Desmond took third, all three within one second of each other. With the first run completed, Paddy had an overall 5.5 sec lead over Liam with Alan just 0.3 secs behind in third place.
The second run of test also had three different fastest times. Paddy took the top time on Test 4 from Don Giles with Liam third, while Stephen Clarke surprised all going quickest on Test 5 from Paddy with Liam third. Test 6 was a repeat of test 3 with Liam fastest from Paddy and Timmy third. The overall placings remained the same after this run with Paddy 9.4 secs ahead of Liam who increased his lead over Alan to 3.3 secs.
Paddy was quickest again on Test 7 while Peter showed that he could not be discounted with a time just 0.28 second behind with Alan third. Liam was quickest on Test 8 with another new name, Liam Croston, at the top of the timesheet in second with Padd in third after a line fault. Paddy took two quickest times on this run when he went fastest on Test 9 with Liam second and Don back on form with third quickest. With three runs competed Paddy still led, but the gap to Liam was back to 5.5 ses while he had increased his lead over Alan to 18.4 secs.
Paddy stepped up the pace on the final run taking fastest on all three tests. Don and Peter were second and third on Test 10 while Liam and Alan occupied these places on Test 11. Liam repeated second quickest on the final test with Don taking third fastest.
The final result saw Paddy Power continue his run of victories on this event, finishing on 440.35 secs, 11.48 secs ahead of Liam Cashman with Alan Clarke third on 473.15 secs.
The event was a round of the Premier Auto Parts Munster championship and the Cork Motor Club championship and had an entry of 18 competitors.

Cork Builders Providers venue for Summer Test Trial 2011
Cork Builders Providers premises at Togher in Cork will again be the venue for our 2011 Summer Test Trial. COC Johnny Kenneally has decided to continue with his successful format of many years.
The event takes place next Saturday July 9. Sign on will be at 4.30pm with the first test starting at 5.30pm. The whole event should be done and dusted for 8.30pm with a little extra help from club members for timekeeping and marshalling.
The event is round 8 of the Premier Autoparts Munster Autotest championship and also part of CMC's own championship for 2011.As well as competitors, Johnny will be looking for marshals and timekeepers.
